Letter Formation

Children at this stage are ready to learn the motor patterns necessary for forming capital letters, numbers and lowercase letters and have the pencil control and perceptual skills necessary to properly place letters on lined paper. Stage 2 products should be used in a developmental progression as listed. Stage 1 products can be used in conjunction to continue to develop underlying prewriting skills.
